Gallery | New Photoshoot!

I've found and added a new photoshoot (well, "new" to uploads) to the gallery! Miranda looks stunning in it, naturally. It's perhaps a year old, but the point is, more Miranda gorgeousness, yes? The quality's MQ to slightly Large Q, no HQs I'm afraid, but c'est la vie. Check out the album here.

News | Farewell to Sydney Film Festival '09

It's over, y'all. Sydney Film Festival 2009 ended yesterday. What a shame; it's been great to see Miranda so active over the week. As some of you will know, Miranda Otto was a jury member at this year's Sydney Film Festival. This year's Sydney Film Prize went to Bronson. From ABC.net.au:

A biopic about Britain's most violent prisoner has taken out the 2009 Sydney Film Prize. Bronson, directed and written by Danish filmmaker Nicholas Winding Refn, was awarded by $60,000 prize on the closing night of the Sydney Film Festival.

The film is based on the life of Charles Bronson - known as the most violent prisoner in Britain, who was jailed in 1974 for armed robbery but has remained behind bars for attacks on other prisoners. Bronson was born Michael Gordon Peterson, but adopted the name later in life. He has had 11 books published and writes poetry, but remains in solitary confinement.

The judging panel, which included filmmaker Rolf De Heer and actress Miranda Otto, said Bronson met the competition's criteria of displaying emotional power, audacity and courage.

Apologies for the delay in Sydney Film Festival updates. While the gallery has been continuously updated with the latest festival pictures, we were unable to post written updates due to a technical glitch. Sorry! Anyway, technical difficulties resolved, y'all.

As previously reported, Miranda Otto, a jury member at this year's ongoing Sydney Film Festival, has naturally been very active at the event, and the gallery has been updated with pictures of her several festival appearances.
